How to get to the UCD Festival


We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, 9 June for what is set to be a great day of free events!
The Belfield campus is located 4km from Dublin city centre on the N11. There are many travel options from various parts of the city, the local suburbs and indeed the whole country. Some of the options are listed below, as well as in our commuting guide http://ucdestates.ie/commuting/


UCD Festival Bus
Dublin Bus has kindly arranged for several free UCD Festival buses to operate on 9 June. Details of relevant bus stops can be found below:

UCD Festival Bus from Tallaght Village
There will be three services leaving this location at 10am, 11.30 and 1pm, stopping at:

Tallaght Village, Stop No. 4435
Firhouse, Ballycullen Rd, Stop No. 6128
Templeogue,Riverside Cottages in Village, Stop No. 1127
Terenure,Terenure Collage, Stop No. 1160
Rathgar, Rathgar Rd, Stop No. 1010

UCD Campus

A final bus will leave UCD campus at 4.30pm towards Tallaght Village

UCD Festival Bus from Dún Laoghaire
There will be three services leaving this location at 10am, 11.30 and 1pm, stopping at:

Dún Laoghaire dart station, Stop No. 2039
Dún Laoghaire, George’s St Bloomfield, Stop No. 2041
Dún Laoghaire College of Art & Design, Kill Ave, outside the church, before Baker’s corner, Stop No. 4570
Dean’s Grange, Clonkeen Drive, outside Lidl, Stop No. 2057
Stillorgan Road Leopardstown Road Junction, Stop No. 2062
Stillorgan Road, Laurence park, Stop No. 4727

A final bus will leave UCD campus at 4.30pm towards Dún Laoghaire

Access to the UCD Festival bus with Dublin Bus is on a first come, first served basis.


Irish Rail
The DART will take you north to Howth and Malahide and south to Greystones. The closest Dart station to campus is Sydney Parade and is within walking distance of UCD www.irishrail.ie


Luas
The Green LUAS line, at Windy Arbour and Milltown, is also within walking distance www.luas.ie


Aircoach/Dublin Airport
Aircoach is a bus service from Dublin Airport to the city centre and UCD Campus. It passes by the main entrance to UCD on the Stillorgan Road.


Car
Parking is free for all visitors on June 9. Parking is limited on campus and available on a first come first served basis. We recommend you use public transport where possible, details of which you will find above. A list of UCD car parks can be found here.

GoCar – UCD provides a GoBase for GoCars.

E-car – charging points are available on campus.
