New York | Irish Tenement Museum Tour

Join a small group of New York-based alumni for this 60-minute private group tour featuring The Moore Family At Home in 1869. Hear the story of Joseph and Bridget Moor, Irish immigrants raising their children in a tenement on 97 Orchard Street in New York’s Lower East Side community in 1869. Visit their recreated apartment and explore how they maintained their Irish identity. The event will provide an excellent opportunity to connect with old friends and make new ones and will be hosted by local alumni volunteer Sarah Ní Mháirtín. Places are limited and will be based on a first come, first served basis.
