Paris-based alumni are invited to a picnic in the courtyard of Centre Culturel Irlandais, a thriving hub of Irish arts and culture. Alumni will enjoy refreshments, fine meats and cheeses to the backdrop of artist Anita Groener’s new exhibition To the Edge of Your World. Groener, a highly respected artist in her field, asks what it means to be human today. Ordinary materials such as twigs, twine and cardboard are transformed into painstakingly delicate sculptural metaphors for the interconnectivity of individual experience and world events. The event will be hosted by local chapter reps Ciaran MacGuill, Elaine Burke and Cormac Ryan.
