A poetry reading including commemorative poems inspired by the Irish War of Independence & the Civil War. Featuring UCD Poet in Residence, Victoria Kennefick, reading a poem commissioned by Poetry as Commemoration & inspired by The Kerry Archives. Followed by a conversation with Dr Lucy Collins. Poetry as Commemoration is a UCD Library initiative supported the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, under the Decade of Centenaries 2012-2023 programme.
