Soil has many functions, as well as producing our food other functions include air quality and composition, temperature regulation, carbon and nutrient cycling, water cycling and quality, natural “waste” (decomposition) treatment and recycling. Explore the path of the importance of soil for grass which the cows eat to produce quality dairy. Become a researcher, examine soil and grass samples and try your hand at milking a cow!
