The UCD Classical Museum (Newman Building) will be open for visits from festival attendees, 12-3.30pm. The curator will give a short introduction to the collection at 12.30/ 1.30/2.30, and we will have a range of activities for children (and adults!), including a scavenger hunt (with prizes), drawing and colouring, and handling ancient artefacts! The Museum offers a unique and wonderful collection of artefacts, including Greek pottery, Latin gravestones, papyrus fragments and even a Roman sarcophagus – come and check them out!

You can drop in to this event whenever you’d like, but don’t forget to register for the Culture Zone if you wish to attend.
